Dr. Bhakta, a southeast Georgia native, completed his undergraduate studies at UGA in 2005 (Sic ‘Em). In 2009, Dr. Bhakta graduated, with honors, from the UAB School of Optometry in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon graduating, Dr. Bhakta completed a one-year residency program in refractive surgery and ocular disease at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, GA. The residency program allowed Dr. Bhakta to further strengthen his clinical skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular diseases, such as, dry eye syndrome, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, amongst other eye conditions. In addition, Dr. Bhakta received extensive training in pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract and LASIK patients. He joined Hamilton Mill Eye Care in 2010. Towards the end of 2018, Dr. Bhakta joined Justice Vision Clinic and transitioned into ownership. Dr. Bhakta enjoys the ability to build long-lasting relationships with his patients by providing a service that enhances their lives.
Dr. Bhakta is a current member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He resides in Johns Creek with his beautiful wife and two amazing girls. In his free time, Dr. Bhakta enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cheering on the Dawgs, and traveling.

Dr. Koepke, born and raised in Dunwoody, attended Wesleyan School for all 12 years of primary school and completed his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in 2011. Dr. Koepke graduated from optometry school at the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas in 2015, with honors. Following graduation, Dr. Koepke, joined one of the largest refractive surgery and tertiary ophthalmology clinics in Dallas, Texas. For two years, Dr. Koepke averaged 45 patients a day, specializing in pre- and post-operative refractive surgery care (cataracts, LASIK, PRK, ICL), as well as co-managing glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, corneal pathology, macular degeneration, and vitreo-retinal issues. Dr. Koepke joined the Justice Vision Clinic in early 2019, and has the pleasure of focusing on primary care optometry, with the help of a wonderful team. Dr. Koepke’s primary goal is to establish long-standing rapport with patients, and to assess, diagnose, and explain fully all pertinent ocular conditions to each of his patients. Dr. Koepke thrives on his patients leaving the office more knowledgeable than when they arrived for their exam, allowing our team to better the health, prognosis, and ocular well-being of the patients we serve.
Dr. Koepke resides in his hometown of Dunwoody and got married in December of 2019. In his free time he likes to cook, play golf, and spend time at home with his wife. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society.
